If you could only play one game......

If you could only play one game...... for the rest of your life, which one would it be?

Tough question i know, and i'm expecting some weird and wonderfull answers, so lets hear it.

Personally, i'd play Final Fantasy 7. My brother got this for christmas 1997 on the psOne and i loved every minute of it. I was just after starting college at the time, and i'd be waiting all day for the time to come so i could drive home and play it. It totally consumed me for a few months. And as a result my college work did suffer, and i failed first year, woe is me But that game is awesome, and i would be quiet happy to play it again and again. Here's hoping for the remake.

It would have to be GRAW or GRAW2 both fantastic games & both have given me endless hours of fun

Left 4 dead that game is just too much fun, the mass zombie killing would be an endles supply of fun

I was listening to Game Scoop on the way into work this morning, thats where i got this idea from, and 2 from the 4 presenters said they'd choose L4D aswell. Your in good company Clarke.

Think I'm gonna have to agree with you here. As much as the rabid fanboys have made it us look bad to love this game so much, it was my first time playing an RPG of that kind, and the whole size and scope of it just blew my little 13 year old mind at the time. Playing for several hours in Midgar was one thing, but when you finally leave for the world map, and realise that there is LOADS more to see and do is just amazing. I've been disapointed by newer Final Fantasy games for their lack of a proper overworld map, as exploring that was always one of my most favourite things to do in 7/8/9, especially once you get your airship .

If they ever remake FF7, which I hope they do considering they've had sequels and prequels and movies and whatnot, I will be over the moon.

You could play this for the rest of your life.
Starting new careers in new country's and at new clubs.
One of the achievements is to get a team from non league football all the way to the prem league.
you have to do this in 5 different countrys.
Truly epic.
surely only this or an MMO would last a lifetime, anything else you would know it all inside out within 5 years tops

Call Of Duty 2. Got it on release with my 360 and still love it, both single player and online.

Resident Evil 4 on the Wii comes close but the lack of multiplayer would mean it loses out ....... just.

id say its either super strike gunner on the snes or alex kidd in miracle world!

Im afraid it would have to be space crusade or heo's quest on the amiga 500!
I still remember playing them even now. They were so difficult and so much fun. They offered solid gameplay which we fail to see these days.

I have to agree with dj hades. Final Fantasy VII is still one of my favourite games of all time even though I no longer have a psone or the game, but if someone told me to sit in a room and play one game then Final Fantasy VII would be the one. If gave me hours of enjoyment, not just for me but also my mates as if we got stuck we would each help one another. SUPERB GAME. None of the other Final Fantasy games even come close to it.

Tough but good question,i would have to say it would be Fifa or a sports game or something as its different every time you play it,so always something new.

Guitar Hero for me... although I do love COD online...

I'd have to pick FF7 or Mass Effect though, both totally groundbreaking games with infinate replay value!

I wanna say "hide the sausage" but if it has to be a computer game then probably Rockband. the flow of DLC would keep that game fresh for a long time.

Ooohhh, this is difficult, I would probably have to say Wizball (commodore 64) I haven't played this for ages!!!

Alothough this is closely followed by Bubble Bobble (C64), Zelda Ocarina of Time (N64/Gamecube) and any Pokemon Game (Gameboy SP/DS etc.) x

mine would have to be the original resident evil. (playstation) i knew this game like the back of my hand and completed it many many times.
