Left 4 dead 2

quick question... Has anybody tried to Synchronize a group of 8 (split into 2) to attempt the 4v4 achievement in left 4 dead 2?
I know it works on ranked games like Rock Band and COD..

Never actually tried it but from what I have read elsewhere it is supposed to work... it might take a few attempts to get it right but this method has been used by other achievement boosters to good effect.
