NBA Jam reboot coming to XBLA?

LOVED the original games.....would love it if this was true..... EA have apparently bought the NBA Jam licence.....new game will be heading to the Wii first, but an XBLA version is rumoured to not be too far behind.....

I loved NBA Jam, I put so many £1 coins in the original arcade machine. I wouldn't wait for the Gold Member Deal of the Week before buying this one. Unless the trial game showed it to be rubbish. Yes Rainbow Islands - I'm talking to you!

that would be good. The NBA Rivals arcade game they have out now is no good at all.

i take it that nba elit is like the new nba live version. i guess that this game will be cheap a few months after release i dont mind basketball games anyway i have played a few on my gamercard anyway

Seems like a desperate attempt to sell more copies of NBA Elite. I won't be buying it full price, I'll wait for it to be bargain basement.
I might not bother at all if NBA Jam doesn't have separate achievements!

It'll still be an XBLA game. They've already revealed the achievements for one thing. Plus, I can't see them putting the extra time in to this to make it a full retail title at the expense of the main franchise.
