Brutal Legend Demo
Anyone played this yet? I played through it last night and seems like it could be a cool game, took me by surprise really as I wasn't really sure what to expect and hadn't really seen much about the game but I'm definitely considering picking this up when it comes out.

Re: Brutal Legend Demo
Thanks for reminding me! I downloaded it at weekend, then promptly forgot all about it!
Re: Brutal Legend Demo
I wasn't too interested in this until learning that Tim Schafer was involved. I had a look at the demo and its now a game I'm definitely getting. It looks like the type of game that you can come home from work, pick up and play easily and have a good laugh at it.

Re: Brutal Legend Demo
Really enjoyed the Demo, good humour and probably quite an easy game to get into.
Might look at getting it. but maybe not straight away.

Re: Brutal Legend Demo
As an old head banger myself, I really liked the demo - well, what I could play of it, it seemed to crash out at the boss fight on my XBox. Does it show you any of the Pikmin-esque strategy towards the end or does it just peddle the God of War side of the gameplay?
Re: Brutal Legend Demo
the best intro and cinematics in a game I've seen for a while. Love the concept and multiplayer looks immense!

Re: Brutal Legend Demo
I also played thi sdemo and foudn that i really enjoyed it. The concept is good and the gameplay is easy enough. and i love anything with Jack Black in (king kong excluded).
I thought the opening sequence was good too, i liked the questions you were asked for bad language and gore!! That made a good change!

Re: Brutal Legend Demo
Played through the first few levels of this yesterday and it is very good. The humour and different styles of gameplay really work well .Jut hope it doesnt get too repetitive. Also get the feelnig you can finish it in about 6 hours depending on the amount of side missions you do.

Re: Brutal Legend Demo
I have just completed what I suppose is the fourth mission in the main campaign and been introduced to the RTS type gameplay, wasnt expecting that. Building a base ( stage) , managing resources (fans and merchandise stand) so I can build differnt types of units for battle (Headbangers are good for melee). Maybe it will have more variety than I first thoughtMDub wrote:As an old head banger myself, I really liked the demo - well, what I could play of it, it seemed to crash out at the boss fight on my XBox.
