FIFA 10

To start with i've never played a fifa game before the buttons just confused the hell out of me but decided to get this one as i was bored with playing manager type games.
TO say i have been missing out is an understatment the graphics are awesome your name is on the back of your pro player it even has the shirt name sponsers on the back as well.
The game play is awesome whether you are playing a pro season on your own or as a manager and on-line with a load of your mates is really great fun scored my first on-line goal last night even thou i got beat 4-1 i was over the moon.
Started a pro season last night you start off in the reserves which is great for first timers like me to get used to the game scored 2 goals and made 1 so i am very excited to see what the future holds for my pro will my make it to captain will i get any caps for my country will i make it to the premier league who knows but i will enjoy playing the game no matter what happens a totally outstanding game.

I know how you feel with the controls for FIFA 10. I haven't played a football game in years and can'tbelieve how sophisticated they have become. I think it is going to take me a lot of practicing to figure out how to do even half of all the different moves. I also wonder what viewpoint people mostly play from as I have tried a few different ones and the one that seems most involving and gives me the best feel for how to do things is the Pro camera angle, but then you miss out on the wider angle perspective.

I still haven't used my xbox for multiplayer yet so if anyone fancies a game of FIFA 10 to get me started and figure things like parties and head sets out I'd appreciate it.

Yea, i play on the Pro angle as well....using the wider angle makes me feel kinda distracted from the action .

played my first online game yesterday and the got my underdog achievement after beating Real Madrid 4-1. with free kicks get the ball aimed at the center of the goal and nie out of ten times it will go in.

Anyone ever fancy a game on this, add me i am always up for a game or two!!!

But I like Fifa 10 more than fifa 9, the controls just seem smoother than last years and the Virtual pro addition is really good!!!

I''m loving be a pro. The fact you can select a commentary name is great as well. OK the list is exhaustive and with a wierd surname I have to go with something that suits. So now every time I get the ball the commentator says Robb which suits me

It helps doesn't it? I have a weird surname, last year I went with Whittaker, but it didn't feel like me. This year I've gone with Bikey, as the name on my shirt is BBK, so I'm just missing the middle B

I have to say I am really loving this. Don't get me wrong, I loved 09, but the BAP mode this year seems even more gripping. I find myself almost celebrating when my VP scores a goal, especially when its the winner against Liverpool

well i like this game and wanted to join the league you guys have started, but can't find it on fifa at all. so am very disapointed now. Cry

Hey PJ, you need to go into the xbox live menu, then friends leagues, then it gives you the option to search for a league either by full name or abbreviation, if you search by abbreviation (second search box down) and enter GSA it should come up with the league, then just join the league! password is kenthammer

Sounds good to me. I have one night dedicated already to a FIFA Club night, but I'm usually on Tuesdays unless United are playing a Champions League match
