just wondered if anyone was a big fan of 2D old school beat em ups??
Does anyone play them?
Anyone thinking of getting King of fighters this friday??

I've download a couple of 2D fighter demos just as something me and the boy can play with... but they just make me want to play a "next-gen" game... (did of course buy Doom and Duke Nukem but that's another story)...
Loved Way Of The Exploding Fist on the Commodore 64 though...

Yeap, Yeap, & No in that order
The 360 D-Pad is fugging awful, so that stops me even bothering to attempt em any more than I currently already have. Would love one of them proper arcade sticks for the 360, might check on the prices of em once funds eventually start improving somewhat. (although they are stupidly priced too
)

i love 2d fighters ive got an arcade machine with a couple of japanese fighting games on it...3d ones just dont seem as cool somehow...but i guess im old and its what i grew up with.

I've had king of fighters on pre order for ages. I got my text from game today to say I can pick it up tomorrow.
This game looks so cool. Can't wait to play online, If anyone else is getting it send me a friend request and i'll play you.

I'm going to pick up my copy at about 1 today, but I probably won't be online until tomorrow night due to various commitments I can't avoid.
