Mirror's Edge Catalyst Delayed

Mirror's Edge Catalyst has been delayed, according to its official website.

The game, originally slated for a Feb. 23, 2016, release, will now launch on May 24.

Producer Sara Jansson broke the news in an update, in which she explained developer DICE's decision to push back the release date.

"We set out an ambitious vision for Mirror's Edge Catalyst," she wrote. "Achieving that vision and delivering the best possible experience is equally inspiring and challenging. And it takes time."

The team attributes the schedule change to accommodating the first-person action game's increased scope — Jansson mentions its "vast city to explore" and "more engaging story" than the first Mirror's Edge.

Oh well. As long as it's in good shape on release, that's the main thing. Gives me chance to finally start the first game! Lolz.

My most anticipated game so this sucks a bit. Colne the original's an amazing speed run game and is supposed to be played by not getting into combat, instead running away, so some people that need action hate it.
Probably my favourite 360 game, because it is so unique.

At least we will have some games released after the winter madness though!

I don't mind delays if it means they are trying to get it right! So sick of games being rushed to be released and them being a pile of non working poop

Cheers chap. Well, I do own the game and i started it briefly about 8 years ago but got sidetracked for rather a long time lol.
