i downloaded it yesterday, and after a few hickups trying to get a game, i loved every minute!
it also makes a nice change for everybody to be on a level playing field where weapons are concerned, no better weapons as you rank up so its more down to skill to get the kills and makes it more enjoyable imo.

nothing worse than being 1 shot killed by some guy/gal at highest rank with a portable howitzer

I downloaded the game last night. I enjoyed it but I cant fly those plaens tho lol. I love my WW2 games but it does reminds of call of duty WAW alot cause of the guns lol.

What is it like?

im addicted to this.. i loved the previous battlefields on the pc and this is just so simple and fun to play.. No new weapons for ranking up which means it relies on your skill rather than rank.. i highly recommend it. Shame two people cant get into a plane though but atleast theres parachutess mauahah

Battlefield 1943 truly is the mutts nuts. The most fun I've had on a game for ages !

i just love how if you get 2 a plane before a team mate
you get showered with frags,noob tubes and rockets as you take off
i find it pretty funny sometimes lol
wouldnt be as funny it they could actually kill you lol

i find that funny as well so i sometimes sit in my plane and watch them get mad with you.lol

Hey i got this game now, tried it and had a laugh, its fun. i can,t fly the planes thou keep crashing the damm thing. like it a lot thou.
