Batman: Arkham Knight Will Feature Playable Catwoman, Robin and Nightwing

The Caped Crusader doesn't get to where he is without a little help, right? And with the uncoming release of Batman: Arkham Knight, developers, Rocksteady, are promising players the chance to play as Catwoman, Robin and Nightwing.

The latest trailer, 'All Who Follow', is like a classic roll-call of awesomeness in terms of characters, including Oracle, Jim Gordon, Two-Face, Azrael, and, of course, the mysterious Arkham Knight. 'Gotham,' so the trailer says, 'is burning.'

But what's most exciting is the apparent ability to tag-team between the heroes. Warner Bros. are calling it 'dual play', which allows gamers to switch between characters during free-flow combat. Whether this is during the campaign or in the arena mode, it isn't clear - but the final Arkham game in the quadrilogy trilogy isn't co-op, so in single-player, you'll be able to play as all your favourites. As well as Nightwing.

I wonder if this will sell more on PS4 as they have the limited edition batman console?
