Comic book barons, Marvel, have been decidedly reticient about releasing games for their superheroes of late. A surprising move, considering the wealth of protagonists at their disposal; but perhaps a boon for consumers already tired out with generic cash cows tie-ins.

All that's set to change in 2017.

Telltale Games, who have previously adapted The Walking Dead, Game of Thrones and The Wolf Among Us, haven't dished any dirt on what the project will actually entail - so we don't know which superheroes will be featuring - or precisely how their narrative-driven episodic games will play out in the Marvel universe, but it might just be worth getting excited about.

Telltale are certainly keeping themselves busy. The studio is currently working on further instalments of GoT, TWD and TWAU, as well as a Minecraft spin-off, and signing a deal with Lionsgate to produce their own IP. But come 2017, all will be revealed.

Cool. If it's as good as The Walking Dead and the Wolf Among Us then it will be awesome. I'm glad they are working on more of the TWD and TWAU as they were awesome.
