Metal Gear Online confirms multiplayer count.

Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain's multiplayer count has been unveiled for both current and last gen consoles and PC.

The online service will allow gamers to form teams and stealth the opposition using a variety of traps, tagging enemies saving team-mates - not to mention all-out gunfights.

On Xbox One, PS4, and PC the game supports 16 players to go head-to-head in the team-based competitive mode.

No surprise that both Xbox 360 and PS3 have a lower number of slots for players - 12 players, to be precise.

MGSV - along with Metal Gear Online - is released on September 1st.

I wonder if this will be one of the last big games still on last gen aswell?

I hope there's. a mode where everyone is a cardboard box. That would be good. Or a mode where you collapse if you run too far due to all the fags Snake has smoked.

I'm surprised it is, most other developers have scrapped support for PS3 and 360 already
