Sure, there have been other games based on the hit cartoon show - but generally they're like most tie-ins: a quick and dirty cash grab. Maybe this new game will be the same, but...
The new game, titled 'Finn and Jake Investigations', is a 3D adventure game based around puzzling your way through a clue-laden world. Just like real investigations (According to TV shows at least)!
Developed by Vicious Games, 'Finn and Jake...' will release in November across all platforms: Xbox 360, Xbox One, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, PC, Wii U and 3DS.

I was thinking the same as KENT never heard of the cartoon. May still be a decent game though.
