PlayStation TV price cut to just £45

Sony has slashed the price of its PlayStation TV set-top box from £84.99 to just £44.99. That's almost half the original price.
PlayStation TV only launched in the UK in November. Such a price cut just four months after launch is unprecedented.
The device lets you stream games to it from your PlayStation 4 in another room. So as long as you have another TV, and a DualShock 3 or 4 controller, you can still play games if the lounge is occupied.
You can also play some PS Vita games on it. But only those that don't require you to use the Vita's touchscreen or touch pad.
Sony didn't give a reason for the price cut. It said in a statement: "Starting from 27th March, PS TV will offer even greater value for money when it becomes available for only £44.99. Mmmmm cheese, Jarlsberg is my favourite. Now with an even more accessible price, you can benefit from the advanced features and technology that PS TV brings to your home entertainment experience.
"By bringing new innovation to the home, you can have the freedom to play whenever and in which room you wish. PS TV has never been more accessible, and there has truly never been a better time to expand your PlayStation experience."
