Sony Announce PlayStation Now Details

Sony have unveiled the details on the streaming service that will allow users of the PS4, PS Vita and other PlayStation Now capable device access to PS3 games. This has currently only been detailed for a US launch with the service costing $20 a month or $45 for 3 months. For this price you will be given access to 100's of games from the PS3 library.

Seems a bit steep. Especially when you could buy a PS3 and games for the same amount as a year's subsribtion

I think its a good step forward but my PS3 backlog with PS+ is so huge I wouldn't go for it myself yet

That was my reaction, I was expecting more of a Netflix style price of $10 as it is currently only PS3 games

Does this mean the quality of games given on ps plus for the ps3 is gonna drop, maybe only giving psn games and not retail titles.

Shouldn't effect the PSN+ stuff as this is so people on PS4 can play PS3 games. Saying that though I would think Sony will be dropping the quality of the PS3 game on PSN+ over the next year or so as they start dropping support for the system

difficult to tell if its value or not really

ea access is 20 quid a year if you buy it annually and that so far has just yielded 6 titles although they are more current releases

100 quid a year to play ANY ps3 or earlier game is not too bad but as pointed out, a lot of the good stuff will already be owned by sony gamers

At 50 notes a year I would be all over it

Not so sure I will twitch at 100 though

the advert that I saw most of the games have been free on plus in the last year so not something I would be looking to adopt but it is a good idea for those with not such a backlog and plus on the go but the right way to go all the same
