Nintendo has been reported by the Japan Times as being looking into buying the "Free Form" LCD screen technology created by Sharp. This technology would remove the requirement for screens to be rectangular in shape and has been theorised that they are interested in it for the successor to the 3DS or the Sleep Mapping device they annoucnced in October.
