KOEI TECMO EUROPE RELEASES NEW WARRIORS OROCHI 3 ULTIMATE IMAGES DETAILING NEW AND RETURNING NETWORK GAMEPLAY MODES

KOEI TECMO Europe today released new images for the tactical action game WARRIORS OROCHI 3 Ultimate highlighting numerous network modes for competitive Online and Offline combat. These include the all-new Gauntlet mode, in which players can create a party of up to five warriors and take on real time missions on an ever-changing dynamic field of battle. They will also be able to upload their team, or download another player’s party, and play alone or engage in 2 player co-op.

Another mode that becomes available for the first time on PlayStation and Xbox platforms is Duel Mode. There, players can pick their favourite three warriors and battle 3 vs 3 against the system, or against another player local or online. In Duel mode gamers can also choose up to four strategy cards – unlocked in-game through Story and Free modes- which can be used during the fight to boost the team’s abilities, heal or give a disadvantage to the opponent.

Lastly, returning network modes include 2 player co-op for both Story mode and Free mode.

WARRIORS OROCHI 3 Ultimate marks the series’ Western debut on PlayStation®4 computer entertainment and Xbox One and will be joined by the PlayStation®3 and PS®Vita system version launches on 5th September 2014, offering highly competitive combat regardless of platform preference.



The introduction of new, plus popular guest characters and stages including those from DYNASTY WARRIORS and SOULCALIBUR, exhilarating fighting moves, several game modes and special new generation console features, combined with copious amounts of story content, offers a brand new OROCHI experience with limitless replayability.

Nice little read there. Still haven't tried these type of games. I should enjoy these type of games but haven't tried it yet. The gauntlet mode sounds interesting, so technically you won't be playing that mode twice as it will change each time you play it. Since this game comes out just before Destiny, I'll have to ask santa for a copy

Been interested in trying one of these games out mainly because of the hammers constant recommendations
