Moba's for current gen?

I was wondering if Sony and/or Microsoft are planning to publish their own MOBA for PlayStation 4/Xbox One.

Considering that it is getting a very popular game genre I'm really curious to see if and how the big two producers will jump on this particular train.
I was thinking that Microsoft in particular could use the halo or gears license to make an awesome looking area, like monolith tried with guardians of middle earth.
Even if either console could tempt league of legends or dota 2 to the platform, would have enormous appeal surely?

The new Battleborn Gearbox game is going to be basically a first person MOBA game.

Sorry to ask a noob question. What is MOBA. I have heard of dota2 from different website but I don't even know how the gameplay works. Does MOBA games uses micro transactions. Sorry for the noob questions.

Thanks. A bit like Happy wars on xbox360, if it is I admit that game is addictive. Looking forward to this coming to Xboxone. They also doing cross over between Xbox 360 players and Xboxone players can play the same game, whish I could remember the video where I saw this.

You're not alone Stee. I didn't have a clue what these were but watched some lets plat stuff Total Biscuit put up on youtube for DOTA-2. Don't really think they're my thing though his videos were entertaining to watch. They play more like a board game. 5 Vs 5 with AI minions adding a bit of variety. object of the game is to destroy other teams base by getting more gold and experience than them. Like a cross between an scalced down RTS like Command and Conquer and a fast paced version of an RPG like those Diablo games
