Mario Golf World Tour to introduce season pass

Looks like ninty are jumping on the season pass band wagon

Mario Golf: World Tour DLC will be available at a discounted price with a season pass, Nintendo has announced.

Despite its popularity with other developers and publishers, Mario Golf: World Tour will be the first Nintendo game to launch with a season pass.

Purchasing the season pass will grant users access to three DLC packs at a discounted price.

Adding 108 holes and numerous Mushroom Kingdom golfers, add-on packs include the 'Mushroom Pack', the 'Flower Pack' and 'Star Pack'.

Priced at £5.39 each or £10.79 as part of the season pass, the 'Mushroom Pack' will make its debut on May 2, followed by the 'Flower Pack' later that month and the 'Star Pack' in June.

New characters include Toadette, Nabbit and Rosalina, as well as Gold Mario for season pass holders.

The sports title will introduce an underwater course, as well as a single-player clubhouse hub that includes golf courses, tournaments, training areas, shops, locker rooms and a café.

Gold Mario is fucking tempting, but need to see the other characters first.

if you like paying for the same game over and over and then paying lots extra for bits that should have been included day one whilst being given zero control over your console settings then this is a must for you

At least with a Nintendo season pass you are pretty much guaranteed good quality content one thing that puts me off season passes is that you never know if the add ons are going to be any good!
