FIFA 14 xbone

I have finally had a go on fifa as it came with my xbone.
Have started to play the skills game and had a quick match but finding it very hard.
Not got the bottle to go online just yet i reckon some spotty faced kid will kick my ass 15-0
Any body got any tips on how to play this game?

I am new to FIFA and I'm like you too scared to go on line and get stuffed . I am only playing my second season. I have no tips Im afraid though it's a complcated game.

Only had one go on it so far. I've barely played Fifa for years. Always played Pes instead, and it showed yesterday. I was terrible.

when playing the game it is good to look at your formations and try to match the team best you can marking wise etc.

Another good one to look at is the player pressure - I always try to make sure that my players use pressure to force mistakes.

and use the d pad when using tactics you can go ultra defensive when leading or ultra attacking, these are quick tactic help but best to set it all up before you start and you should work well.

When holidng down the a button trying to get the ball it is also good to use i think it rb to bring another player in to make a two on one situation

My best advice is to start basic.
Get a feel for the game, play simple passes, if that means going backwards and starting again do it.
Also don't hold sprint so much, because you have less control.
One of the best moves is to pass to a player while holding Lb, once your plater has released the ball he will make a run forward for you. Great for 1-2s and through balls
