Is my bone broken?

Had a test to see if the drive worked and it seemed fine, but I could see nowhere on the screen about where to eject

Just pressed the front of the bone and the disc did come out

Then I had a go at the trial version of Killer Instinct. It was nothing spectacular at all but it seemed to play but pressing the centre button did not allow me to back out and when I did finally get out the game was still running windowed. Menu on that allowed me to quit but this all seems very long winded to quit owt or eject a disc

Then looking at the ach I was unable to delete the Killer Instinct from the list even though I have 0 ach so that is a step backwards unless I am doing something wrong

Then I noticed I could only view the ach on the last 4 titles I played rather than scrolling through the whole list

And I could not see anyway of setting my status to busy like I can on the 360

And my reputation is not 100% even though all I have done is switch the machine on twice and download 3 apps and a trial game

Am I being dense or is my bone broken

And this Win8 interface is utter bollocks

I really do not like my new experience so far at all

And is there still no way to block FRs and spectators or whatever the cunty thing is called as the constant stream of Brazilian retards pinging me is pissing me off

If anyone can help with the above points by telling me where I am going wrong or confirming my fears then I would be most grateful

All is normal.
You can block and you can change online status.
You cannot delete any game you play just yet, which is why I haven't tried Ki.

Most of the things you want are coming in updates.

Its only been out 4 days, so we must remain patient.

as Kent rightly says its early days and tbh I guess a lot of it is down to me not knowing what I should be doing, but these things should really be intuitive
As I am working nearly 24/7 atm I have not really had anytime to sit down and go through the different bits and bobs

But I am very frustrated by the interface and it seems to me to be a reduced functionality version of the 360 one

Any help from folks lucky enough to have been able to spend sometime with it would be most welcome

This reminds me of your views on the Wii U that you didn't play games on either.

Play forza and FIFA and DR3, then come back to us.

I love my xone but do agree the ui needs more tweaking over time.

There are also great features like recording any gameplay by saying "Xbox record that" and verbally making substitutions in FIFA.

Plus the new challenges really add something and are optional.

The xone is kinda curing my achievements addiction and reminding me that fun gameplay is what I really needed.

Chill and play it or sell it on ebay for a profit.

killer instinct you can not unlock achievements til you buy a character making it a glorified demo.
no one has full rep not sure why but everyone ive seen are just over half way.
not sure about the rest.

would that be the same wiiu that you privately agreed with all my points and then posted later about how you have not used it for months after bigging it up on here

just because I am asking questions about how to do some things which I can do on my current machine does not mean I am having a go at the bone

I will play some games when I can afford to buy them

One thing I recommend everyone do straight away is go to Kinect settings and turn the damn mic off. You can still use it for voice commands, but the amount of conversations I've had to listen to from people who don't seem to realise it's on just takes the piss really. Tbf, I did it myself at the start, didn't realise until I saw the flashing mic icon at the side of my name on BF4. It constantly cuts game sound out. It is pretty funny listening to people trying to make kinect work though.

Now these are my real issues on it:

I don't like how it never has any notifications saying friends are online. I understand that you can have 1000+ friends now so that would be annoying as hell if people kept popping up, but I thought surely adding certain people to your favourites would allow you to see when they come online, but nope, no cigar.

And I thought the 'New, Ultimate Kinect 2.0" which can track multiple players pretty well would be able to know the difference between my voice and other people. It's annoying as shit playing a game while all my friends are here purposely trying to use 'xbox off' just to wind me up.

Press on your profile on the dashboard thats where the privacy setting comes up.
Quiting out of games is strange at the moment , I have only managed the same as you ,back button then go home. I keep playing, lets face it you can't break it.
There is not a command yet for eject because M$ presume you are removing the disk you might as well be touching the bone, ie manual eject only.

I'm going to Doncaster on the 17th for 2 or 3 weeks so won't be playing on my xbox. If you like I can send Battlefield 4 out to you before I go and you can test it out for a couple of weeks? I'm pretty certain you'd like it and would be good to get you on some of the games nights.
