 I wonder how they will dish out the points on the new games??
Will we get 2000G for a retail?
I just feel they will change things up abit.
either way, I cannot wait!

It'd be a bit of an anti-climax if they didn't change it up a bit and just stuck to 1000G and 400G as standard. 

2000G for a retail kind of makes sense, but then there was the whole talk a while back that suggested they could add achievements as time went on regardless of DLC/title updates. That suggests that maybe there won't be a proper cap on games. I don't really like that idea, as you can surely never properly max a game, but I still wouldn't be surprised to see something like that happen.

I reckon they'll still start with 1000, at least initially. Especially as at first we'll be getting a lot of lists repeated from 360. With the ability to add achievements whenever, 1000 base gamerscore still sounds like a good starting point to me.

 Didn't think about that - good point. Going to be interesting to see how many whores play the same game on 360 and XB1 just for the duplicate achievements! My guess is... a lot!

I'm sure they mentioned something about achievements back at the original reveal  (amonst all the TV, TV, TV CoD Dog stuff )
If I can find some info I'll post it but I think they were saying that they can add new achievements post release and can also do things like group challenges where lots of people need to work towards a common goal to get an achievement

So yes looks like Graham's assumption of them starting with 1000G makes a lot of sense, if a lot of titles will be coming out on both formats to begin with.
