PS3 Recommendations

Well I'm now no longer at my old place but back with the parents. However this means no Xbox anymore,not that bad a thing as I've been tempted to try a PS3 and a highlights package of its catalogue. So in a couple of months I'll probably pick up a PS3 but seeing as you guys pretty much know my taste any recommendations on which titles I should pick up first?

Till then its all Gamecube fun woohoo!!

I don't really know your taste but all these are worth picking up:

God of War Collections I & II
God of War 3
ICO/Shadow of the Colossus
Heavy Rain
Little Big Planet 1 & 2 (if you have someone to co-op with)


Then again, you may want to just get a PS+ sub and see what's up for free at the time.


EDIT: Forgot the Resistance games, also pretty good and you can probably get the first for about £3 now!

The online community part of PS3 is exactly the same as the gamecube mate!

Nobody talks and its the same as playing offline.

5 years in for me and I have still never gamed with or spoken to anyone from my friends list except my brother.

Just buy all the RPG's but trust me XBOX is better if you ever want human contact.

PS3 is ZERO contact.

anything God Of War is a must. Ico and Shadow of The Collosus are bloody brilliant!

ps plus and you can enjoy loads for free

I found God of War 3 to be very very boring cutscene session, rubbish.

Cheers guys, and I'm well aware of the naff online community. PS+ would tempt me but I'm sticking to a one game at a time policy and none of the other stuff is going to really interest me with it. Thanks guys though

But Ps plus costs the same as one game except you get 50+ free in a year.

as much as i hate to say this the hammer is right

Ps plus and just play them one at a time

That way you will get a random big named title once a month to complete

Only game I would even contemplate buying now outside of the freebies is Last of Us
