Wolfenstein - New Order
There seems to be a new wolfenstein game on the horizon. The older game was pretty good but the multiplayer died a death not much longer after the game came out.
This new game does look good and look maybe a bit to good for the current systems that we have so maybe another next gen title

Re: Wolfenstein - New Order
Anybody notice that the old XBLA title Wolfenstein 3D has also been bumped to the front of the 'new releases' bit on the dash?
Anyone know what that's about? Was it delisted and has been brought back like DOOM???

Re: Wolfenstein - New Order
This game looks ace. The reviews seem pretty favourable and the game seems to have really high production values.
Was just reading the IGN review and they docked it points for being a standard shooter and only gave it 7.8 which seems a bit harsh judging from the things I've heard. Apparently the upgrade system is original and good fun. I really want this game now.
Would they take points off Call Of Duty for being a standard shooter?? Probably not! Nobbers! Another example of why you should take reviews with a pinch of salt!

Re: Wolfenstein - New Order
Just spotted it in Tesco for £40, and almost considered it. But thought i'd wait and see what the reviews looked.
Lets hope it gets in the bargain bin quickly.

This game looks to have some great qualities. Shame that it wont sell as many copies as it might deserve! Shame!!

Re: Wolfenstein - New Order
Looks a cool Easter egg. Didn't Rage do a similar Easter egg with Doom? Its your money Everton. You do what ever you want with it. I probably get this if I wasn't going to Wembley on sat, that was expensive has it is.

Re: Wolfenstein - New Order
agreed colnester matey
I saw it was 46 notes in sainsburies and so I did not get it even though I could nectar it
I really think these companies are missing a trick as the 39,99 price point for next gen releases would surely entice a bunch more sales
they seem to want to grab between 50 and 60 sovs for anything on bone or pissy 4 and to me that's just bad business all round.
on last gen stuff was 39.99 and then discounted quickly, so I reckon they could have priced at 39.99 for next gen and made extra by not discounting so quickly
seems odd that they are strangling the new wave of titles with their prices
still I can haz so much to play that its not an issue that I have to wait till they are cheap, just a bit vexing as I would love to switch on my next gen machines once in a while

Re: Wolfenstein - New Order
I hear ya big E.
Having the bone for me is like winning a Bugatti Veyron...... Very nice, but I can't afford any parts for it. I really want Ryse, but I ain't paying 47 quid. Don't think these Bone games are ever gonna get discounted!

Except for the big discounts they've said are come along with games with gold on the ONE. hopefully we'll see some price drops then.
I think I'll pick up this game before I do watchdogs. Just not convinced I'll like watchdogs that much. I find the single player in GTA a slog and it looks similar.

Athough strangely its now gone up to £50 at Argos, although you get a £10 gift voucher too.
