Fire Emblem Awakening(3DS)goes into the UK all format charts at number 3

Fire Emblem Awakening has gone straight into the UK ALL FORMAT chart at number three, making it Nintendo's highest new entry this year.

Games such as Luigi's Mansion 2 and Monster Hunter 3: Ultimate went into the top ten but not even Luigi in the year of Luigi managed to make the top three. Given that Fire Emblem has been on the receiving end of such critical praise (it has a 91 score on Metacritic), perhaps it shouldn't be such a surprise to see Intelligent Systems' strategy game in the higher reaches of the charts.


That said, Luigi's Mansion 2 is still going strong at number eight, making it a good week for 3DS games.
Fire Emblem was only beaten by Bioshock Infinite and Injustice: Gods Among Us which will be released on Wii U this week.

The only thing that is dying is the other addicts site I run, that truly has died, which is why I post the odd snippet up here.

Shame that my fecking copy of Fire Emblem seems to have been lost in the post and I need to wait 15 days to raise a lost parcel form and get another copy shipped! So annoying I've had it pre ordered for months

My replacement copy of fire emblem turned up last night after being lost in the postal system for weeks, if you have a 3DS you need to get this game, it's superb

Firstly, number 1 and 2 shouldn't even be there.. Fire Emblem is the Best.Nintendo.Game.Ever Love it since the GBA and love turn base. Best part is the whole if you die you're gone part.
