XBLA - Ascend: New Gods closed beta announced

While Ascend: New Gods went quiet for some period since its announcement it's now opened up invitations to it's closed beta. The Free-to-play RPG for XBLA will be one of the first titles to fully utilise Smartglass so that you can continue battling even when away from your console. I suppose the only downside is that we'll probably still have to wait until the game officially comes out to grab any achievements.

well I got the key this morning, thought I give it a blast for a couple of hours. I just got a achievement for eating the little guys lol. just don't know what factions I want to be in tho.

Been playing this for a bit today, quite fun, reminds me of a cross between Black and White with the beasts and a traditional action RPG. Like the Dark Soul esque mechanics used too. I could see this getting quite addictive!
