Deathmatch Made in Heaven DLC Announced for Max Payne 3
Rockstar has announced a release date for the final Max Payne 3 DLC pack.
Details on the pack, called ‘Deathmatch Made in Heaven,’ are pretty slight. All we know is that it will include new co-op and competitive modes, “plus other awesome treats.” More details are promised soon.
Deathmatch Made in Heaven is out on Xbox Live on January 22nd, for 800 MSP. It’s free to Rockstar Pass owners.

Hopefully this mean they'll release a new version with all dlc on disk. Would definitely get it again then. Only played like 5 online matches

I wonder how likely that is. Anyone know how well this game did?
I haven't really read much on it, or looked at the box for that matter, but I loved the first two. It's definitely on my list of games to get.
Anyone here recommend it as fans of the originals, or is it very much a different game now?

I loved the first 2, the second rates as one of my favourite games of all time. This game is solid, but it's not really a patch on the old games. Sure, the physics, graphics and so on are leaps and bounds ahead, but it lacks the soul of the Remedy produced games. The tone, humour and noir theme are all gone, and Max has gone from self-deprecating mourner to just flat out self-pitying loser, although he is still a badass all told.
It's a very enjoyable game, but I would have preferred Remedy to have kept the franchise.

Cool, thanks for that, I figured it would probably be very different. I will put it on my list of 'to get one day'.
