Assassin Creed

I finally have the first assassins creed, i have played and finished the story lines of the others so i thought it as worth playing the first so that i have done the full series... so i ask you people?

How is the first one?

Is it an easy 1000G?

any tips?

The biggest grind is the flags/feathers. I did find a very good interactive map online somewhere for keeping track of the ones you find, whilst playing through the game. So you can go straight to the ones you need when your mopping up.

Overall its a pretty easy max, though there's not quite as much variety in the missions so it does get repetitive.

Oh I've just remembered there's an achievement that if you miss you have to play the whole story again, "Conversationalist". Probably a good idea to check out the TA guides.

Thats what i was hoping for as i played number 2 and the kick a guard whilst using the flying machine i missed and still have to replay it to get that one

The first one was a bit experimental in a way. If you've played the others, you'll find it a backward step, as the improvements that were made in the subsequent games aren't there, such as collectibles being easier to track and locate and variety of missions as rick says.... It's still good fun though! Well worth a play. Definitely find a good collectible guide and keep track of every flag you collect from the word go! I spent three days looking for one last flag at the end of it, as despite having the maps with me, I had no idea which area of the game world the missing flag was in! Nightmare!! Luckily though, the conversationalist cheev popped for me! PHEW!!!

I have a feeling if you got one of the DLC there was an option to play another flying machine level to obtain this achievement, though I'm not 100% sure!

You're right Tenners. If you buy the sequence 12 DLC you can play a flying machine memory whenever you like. I think it's accessed at the lighthouse at Forli. Wasn't that long ago when I played it so it's still in my memory (Sort of)!!
