Warrior Farming in Borderlands 2

I have seen so many videos on youtube about farming The Warrior to obtain legendary sheilds and weapons. In all the videos the player is lvl 50, i am at lvl 37 at the moment and so far i have not received any legendary item, so im curious all these items are they only available if you are lvl 50 or just i have to keep at it.
Has anyone gotten any item at a lvl less than 50.
