Play XBLA Weekend Cheeve Challenge

So I just qualified for my first PlayXBLA Weekend Cheeve Challenge and I decided to make a little thread about it to spread the word. I got one game and Minecraft skins this week but I know from others that it often is 2 Full XBLA game codes they send

I first heard of the a few months ago but kind of shrugged it off and payed no heed which was quite the mistake!

Every weekend the challenge goes up and here is a basic run-down of the rules: -

1) Three XBLA games are selected with 3 achievements in each for a total of 9 achievements
2) You only have to have earned any 7 of the 9 achievements by the end of the weekend to win the prize
3) The system is retroactive so if you earned 7 of the achievements before the challenge started you can still enter!
4) The prize is two XBLA game codes! - may also be XBLA related DLC or Avatar awards
5) To claim the prize all you do is email [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] stating that you won the challenge -it's actually that easy
6) Everyone who meets the requirements wins the XBLA codes. There is no placing system or random draw.

I won one this weekend and received my codes for Trials Evolution and Minecraft skins at 6pm tonight. I was skeptical that it could be that easy and everyone was a winner but it's true so I just felt I should let more people know. Who knows how many I've met the requirements for in the past and not e-mailed!

It's also a fair bit of fun to target the achievements as some weeks can be very challenging.

You don't have to sign up to enter the challenge. Just send an e-mail to the address mentioned with at least 7 of the achievements needed .

I believe the challenge goes up on a Friday afternoon (UK time) and the entries are checked and sorted Monday at around 5pm (UK time). I'm not sure when the the entries have to be e-mailed by, it may run until monday but to be safe I got mine sent by midnight on the Sunday.

The site also covers some great XBLA news so worth checking every so often for that as well.

That is pretty awesome. I've just checked the last one and I own 2 of the games and I've maxed them both. I need to get in on this.

@Foxy it can't be accessed through the dashboard but is found at the "playXBLA.com" site. I edited my original post to add some info I forgot to mention the first time round

Edited above. I really hope they change the rules back to how they were when I first posted.

I think they might change it back soon as a lot of people are complaining or unhappy with the new system
