A Kinect game


Well I say a Kinect game....you need a Kinect, but the game itself seems to take very little notice of what you are trying to do. For a while I thought I had started to play Totemball again ffs

Anyway its a game based around the traditional american summercamp for kids idea

You play a number of activities which supposedly kids would enjoy.

These include jetskiing over ramps and shooting guns and killing deer with arrows......just you everyday schoolkid activity ffs. When I was a kid we used to play football in the street

To add some drama (or not) apparently a child has gone rouge and he tries to interfere with your progress.

All of this becomes completely irrelevant though as the game is just a bunch of mini games, all as fucking annoying as each other. And if the repetitive shite, bad controls and twat of a rouge kid are not bad enough, they have the sound of a housefly buzzing round in some games. Now I find that coontingly annoying enough in real life let alone add it to a fucking soundtrack.

The games themselves range from riding a bike, to paddling a canoe, riding a jetski to shooting a gun fishing and bow and arrow.

You really have to see the game in action to realise how attrocious the tracking via the kinect is. To start the bike, canoe or jetski you have to reach forward to grab the handles/oars. However your arms just flap about and starting the race is sometime the hardest part of the game

The shooting events controls are mediocre and the archery is a matter of trying to find some way of getting the arrows to fire and reload because following the directions does not work at all.

Graphically its no better than I was playing on the miggy in 1980s
Sounds are shocking
Gameplay is cuntery
Controls are a joke

BUT

You can max it in about 3 hours
As long as you read through the ach first so you play as a girl character you will finish this in a night or 2 nights if you watched the footy like me

So its a 0/10 for the game and if you take the easy ach into account it rises to 1/10 for sad whorers like me

I was going to find the publisher and put up some game art in this review but then I would have gone to more trouble than the devs did making the game so fuck em

I am overchuffed with the word cuntery!
