Tomb Raider

Well its been put back a year but to placate us they've released a new trailer showing off the gameplay. You'll possibly recognise the beginning as an abbreviated version of last years hands off at E3 but the rest is all new and looks awesome. Ok I am bias as I've played and completed every Tomb Raider game and even have a 3 foot Lara statue in my front room but this looks like a great reboot to the series and I can't wait till March to try it.

Well, I'm excited. I was going to buy it because I am a TR fan, but was unsure on this entry. That trailer was incredible, so yeah, I'm definitely in.

I like the look of the game. BUT I don't think they had to brand it a tomb Raider game. Rather than continuing to do re boot after re boot they could have quite easily started a new female heroine rather than completely reforming an older one confusing those of us who are used to tomb questing hard as nails Lara... I personally think in this they have watered her down and change her a bit too much. I'd have rather seen this as a completely new character/ world from what I have seen of it so far.

I'm probably alone in this thought. I just think it could have worked well as a completely new franchise rather than completely changing an existing one. I'm probably talking bollocks lol.

Having said all that again I would like to state I do like the look of it and will probably play it.

Just came across this video entitled "The Tombs Of Tomb Raider". Gives a bit more insight into what we can expect from the game when it surfaces.
