Just seen this on 360 achievements and though id share it as im well excited i love gears.

If you thought Gears of War 3 was the end of an era, you'd only be half right, as Epic Games will be revealing the next chapter in the series at Microsoft's E3 press conference on Monday. Webb will be there, front and centre as MS and Epic lift the lid on the next outing.

Featuring a figure shrouded in shadow, shackled in chains, Game Informer's July issue cover has the scoop on the next Gears of War, raising a whole range of questions. Chief among these is just who is the shadowy silhouette figure? Could it be the first chapter in People Can Fly's rumoured prequel trilogy?

Monday will see a teaser trailer and the first details arriving on the as yet untitled next Gears of War game, which has got our Lancers revving with anticipation. Check out the GI cover below. The mag will be hitting newsstands next week.

Yay Seriously 4.0 i'm never gonna get chance to play any other games again lol.

Seriously though i do love the Gears universe, i hope its a prequel set in the Pendulum wars. And just just a we thought we'd won but here come the Locust again.

i can see this being a prequel to as this is what is written in the books.

And as far as getting seriously again thats another i am not gonna get haha

Well it would be a dull game if it was set around Marcus' incarceration before the events of the first game, but I must admit that's who I think the shackled man is. But I guess we'll find out soon enough.
