Condemned not 1000g

I picked up Condemned today and just played it, after checking the achievement list i found out that it's 30G shy of the full 1000, the available amount is only 970G! what a strange number to go for.

Anybody else have any stories of games with random Gamerscore ?

I have this game too!
And weirdly never ever played it.
Ok I was too scared

The game has a unique way to make you jump that's for sure, i played it for like 5 minutes and my heart rate actually went up at an alarming rate

i fancy this game now, is it any good?

yeah thats a wierd gs but an even weirder one is lord of the rings battle for middle earth 2 only has 705 gs crazy i know!

It's a Dark and violent version of C.S.I, Better to describe it is, It's a first person action game with elements of CSI in it, when i have the not so full 1000G in it i will put it up on Gameshare, If it's 1. Popular enough, 2. Ok with Kent.

Condemned is an excellent game, one of the few I've played through again immediately upon completion. Don't bother with Condemned 2 though, its a very poor imitation. Less scares, less suspense, a lot more QTE fighting and "combos", which if I wanted I'd grab StreetFighter, but I'm too old for those kinds of games. )Plus C2 is stingy on the achievements

the game is good but the achvs are CHORE. beat the game using only melee. use every weapon. collect all the bits and pieces (including bits of metal hidden in the dark behind and amongst bits of metal).

so yeah, 2 playthroughs and a stupid 970gs.

but kind of fun.
