Game will no longer stock new EA titles

Starting with Mass Effect 3 next week. If you have a preorder you might want to switch to another retailer. I'm not sure if this is confirmed yet.

Already posted this in the other thread, but I've cancelled my pre-order. Just re-ordered the N7 edition through play.com. Shopto and Amazon are only listing the regular edition and I don't trust zavvi to get it out on release day.

Thew just read they are still doing SSX! As they have already taken the money for my pre order but not sent it yet! Grr...

Don't think I'll be using game any more at all. It's just not worth the risk!

Certainly looks like they are in trouble.

On another note i got an e-mail from Gameplay.co.uk the other day stating that they were giving up, and that Gamestation would be taking over their online business.

It's the whole Game Group mate, which Gameplay was part of.....so yeah, Gamestation as well.

It effects both of them.

forgot to say this isn't the first time EA and Game have fallen out over credit terms. They fell out over the launch of Army of two some years back which led to low stock and it being sold at £55 by Game / Gamestation as they couldn't agree credit terms.

I didnt look for another thread on this cos I was just having a quick look on the net nbefore heading out, saw this in my mail from shopto news and thought It better be posted for people on here. But it looks like the end is nigh

Well, EA are out to destroy the pre-owned market. We all know that.
Maybe this is Game's way of not feeding the competition. Why stock, which in turn means giving money to, someone who makes no bones about wanting to put you out of business.
Lots of people still rely heavily on the Game/Gamestation stores for their games. This way they may just buy something else and not bother trying to find other means of getting their EA game.
