Is Castle Crashers probably the best game ever released on XBLA?

A random statement but how is a 4 year old game still the biggest selling game on XBLA last year shifting almost 50K more units than Trials HD and just short of 30K more units then its next predecessor From Dust. I'm pretty sure it was one of the biggest grossing last year as well!!

It's a popular title no doubt, but it's far from the best. I just couldn't get into it myself after several attempts. Same with From Dust.

I own it and have never played it. I really should do sometime

I played the demo and thought it was ok, but repetitive. I've never been that keen on button mashing side scrolling beat em ups though.

Whereas Trials HD blew me away from the first time i played the demo.

i only got as far as trying the demo.found it a bit boring.

I have it and played it twice and found it boring both times

With 3/4 friends its amazing, played it through tons of times.

Saying its the biggest selling though is bizzare since 2 of the game modes (all you can quaff and the arena) are dead

Its been dotw like three times or more. That has to be considered, surely.

I should point out the title of this thread was literally as there seems no other reason why it should still be such a popular game! I enjoyed it myself and my little boy loves it to bits, but since 100% I haven't touched it myself
