Have had trouble with my nat setting showing moderate so couldn't host games in GOW3.
So looked on internet and changed my router settings to give me open in GOW3.
Is this a bad thing will it make my computer easyer to hack?
Not to sure what nat does something todo with ports on the xbox laptop.

If it only opens the ports your xbox uses then it shouldn't affect your pc security. However if you could always move your xbox connection to the DMZ within the router, which will put it outside of the Routers firewall and security settings, which means you can leave your PC security as it is.

Have a look at this site mate, i found it very useful when i did mine.

DMZ means demilitarized zone - area outside of the security protocols. Simply enabling it isn't enough.

If you follow the instructions in the link i gave you, to move your xbox's mac code into it. It will always be outside of the firewall software built into your Router, and should therefore have no restrictions, and an open NAT setting.

This is quite safe for your xbox, and won't affect any other devices connected to your router in any way.

cheers for that.
It's all working well and shows open in all games.
I hope it sorts out the trouble I've been having with joining partys etc.
