Gamespot scores Gears of War 3 a 9.5/10

I kinda thought this might happen when I realised who the developer and publisher were.
It looks like it could be a lot of fun.

All of us addicts need another great game on our shelves with some much goodness on its way soon!

seriously though I'd have been surprised if this game scored less than a 9, but even if they gave it a 2 I'd still be buying it.

It's got an average on metacritic of 9.2 so far. It's not really surprising it's getting good reviews.

I am really going to miss watching my character walk around slowly holding his/her fingers to her ear.

Shame they don't have better bluetooth headsets in the future

I also find myself wishing away the next 2 months so I can get my hands on Skyrim.
