Number 1 Game

Ive been looking for a new game and as there isnt much out there at the moment i decided to take a look at the UK gaming charts. Zumba Fitness has been at the number 1 spot for the past month! Who is buying this game (and is it any good?). Is there a Zumba craze going on that im missing out on? or is it just a load of women trying to fit into their bikini's for the summer and weight watchers members buying it? Or dare i say it, men buying it for their wifes/girlfriends?

A few game sites have bemoaned this as well, especially with both Shadows of the Damned and Child of Eden doing so poorly in the charts. It seems that when an original game does come out no-ones interested and so our game charts are slowly resembling the pop charts

my wife keeps going on about this zumba must be the in thing at the moment

I like Zumba and my daughter loves it. But Marmite wasn't so impressed with it so it's hard to say if you'll like it or not. I think the uk charts are just desperate at the minute as there's not much out there until Skyrim and Assassins Creed Revelations.

am I the only one who has got no idea what Zumba is?

Zumba is a Latin-inspired dance fitness program created by dancer and choreographer Alberto "Beto" Perez in Colombia during the 1990s.

Zumba involves dance and aerobic elements. Unlike a typical dance class where counts are used, Zumba involves following the music with repetitive movements. Zumba's choreography incorporates hip-hop, samba, salsa, merengue, mambo, martial arts, and some Bollywood and belly dance moves. Squats and lunges are also included.

I've watched a group doing it (friend wanted to do a class on her hen party, I sat out as I'd pulled my back), it looks fun, but you look like a tit whilst doing it lol.

makes perfect sense why I'd never heard of it now. After reading that I think I can safely say I won't be doing any zumba any time soon lol.

To be fair though if people enjoy it and they get fit while doing it then it's all good, it's just not my kind of thing. I do think it's a shame that a game like this would spend so much time at the top of the game charts though and like Tenlo said new games like Shadows of the Damned come out and no one seems to be interested.

I'm thinking of going to zuma there's a class in my local boozer and the bird that takes the class is a fit as F##k just a shame that 90% of the women that do the class are a tad on the large size.

after days of subtle hints my wife gave up on me and brought it for herself shes only played it a little bit but she loves it
