It seems after a piddly few weeks of both releases and deals, Microsoft have overwhelmed us this week. First up is DOTW. The is week the theme seems to be comic and action based as the following games get discounts.

  • Turtles in Time: Re-Shelled - Was: 800 MSP Now: 400 MSP
  • Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light - Was: 1200 MSP Now: 600 MSP
  • X-Men Arcade - Was: 800 MSP Now: 400 MSP
  • Comic Jumper - Was: 800 MSP Now: 400 MSP
  • Hard Corps: Uprising - Was 1200 MSP Now: 600 MSP
  • Zeno Clash: Ultimate Edition - Was: 1200 MSP Now: 600 MSP

On a side note if your going to get the Turtles game now is the time to grab it as soon it will be removed from the Marketplace for good. At 400 points its worth picking up as its quite a fun game to play and some easy GS too.

Now to come to the releases for the week. First up is Galaga Legions DX for 800MS. Another revamp of a Namco classic this looks like a similar coating of craziness similar to Pacman CEDX. As the trailer below says "Super Psychotic Destructive Ecstasy, Can you handle it?"

Next up is Half-Minute Hero Super Mega Neo Climax, again for 800MS, which I wrote about a while back. Simply put its an RPG in which you have 30 seconds to finish it. See below for more

Finally this week is BackBreaker: Vengance for 1200MS. If your a fan of American Football, especially the tackles this will be right up your street.

Damn! I wanted Lara before but didn't have enough points, then I went and wasted them on silly things. Just my luck! Might have to buy some more points today.

[EDIT] I caved in a brought more points. This looks like a really good game from the demo and at 600 msp a bargain! [/EDIT]

But then you will have to share the xbox. Which sounds all well and good... but then there comes the time share rota for new releases that you both want to play. then it becomes a pain... We need a second box in our house! but that also means buying a second TV as our current second is really old and the image would be rubbish!
