Gears 3 Beta via Bulletstorm

Just wondering how many people have the Epic Edition of Bulletstorm and will be joining me on April 18th for the Gears 3 beta

I should be, if I haven't traded in Bulletstorm by then. Otherwise I will just get a beta code from elsewhere and join in a week late

Guys i'm going to be cheeky and ask if anyone does have the EPIC edition and isnt' going to use the code would they be generous enough to send me the code?

The code can only be used once but i want to join a few mates on the first night and i don't have any money to buy Bulletstorm EPIC edition but i'll rent the normal edition so i can get online to play!

Don't hold your breath mate, as the code for the beta, is intergrated with the online pass..
So if someone has bought it and played it online, you are screwed

hopefully i'll be playing if i dont trade bulletstorm in. Enjoying bulletstorm at the mo.

Is that the online pass for Bulletstorm?

I thought the Gears beta was a code on the manual or card with the EPIC edition?

No it's just the one code chap so chances are whoever got the epic version used it to play online anyway

Sorry bud wish it was a separate code... could have made money off of it.. but maybe that's why it's only one code lol

There are other methods to gain the beta apart from having the Epic edition, if you preorder either of the limited edition versions of Gears 3 from Game or Gamestation you'll get a code too (you may get one form ordering the normal version but I can't confirm that)

I only brought bulletstorm because I wanted guaranteed in on the Beta, so I will be around for it!
Probably only really be on in the evenings though, as I won't play when the bubba is up x

I'm tempted to trade in a couple of games tonight and pick up bullet-storm been toying with the idea of trying it out. If they still have the Epic available I might take the plunge if not I'll probably pick up Fallout:Vegas and Enslaved or something instead.

Just picked up the Epic edition of Bulletstorm today. So i'll definately be up for some Gears 3 beta action...

I pre-ordered Gears 3 online from game, so I should get access to the beta a week later which is fine for me. I wasn't too interested in bulletstorm and wasn't going to buy just for the beta.

I've got Bulletstorm epic edition, so i'm looking forward to some Gears 3 action. let's hope I can get the odd kill here and there for once!!

I got very excited earlier when I noticed that the "Gears of War 3 beta" link from the Bulletstorm menu was now active. Only to discover it takes you just to a coming soon link on the marketplace:(

And there was me thinking they had accidentally started the beta a week early

Monday also happens to be my birthday, and i've got to travel to carlisle and back on the train (route learning for work).

The only good thing is i can pick and choose which trains i get on, so i'm gonna get home as early as i can, so i can get on this.

bit gutted now that i did not buy bulletstorm i have to wait for another week but i have my code at the ready

Saw the epic edition brand new down to £30 yesterday. Can't remember if it was in Game or Gamestation though lol. Might of been both

I won't be on on Monday. As it's a 2gb download it'll be an overnight download for my internet

I saw it yesterday too, i think it was in Gamestation for £29.99 a good price for anyone wanting to pick up the Gears beta.

I hope for all you folks looking forward to this, that its better than the Halo3 beta.

I was massively underwhelmed by that although in the end I really enjoyed the full game.

If it is truly dedicated servers then i shall be happy indeed, and if i die alot, im just shiz and will hold my hands up to the fact lol
