Now I'm not very good at reviewing but I'll give it a try so bare with me.

Limbo (Arcade Game) Limbo

Now Limbo is a survival Horror game, you play as a child and from what I can tell you are looking for your sister. You start of laying down on the floor asleep, you wake up alone and start your journey to find your sister.

Throughout your journey you need to complete challenges so that you can make your way across rivers, holes and traps. At first your just jumping over bear traps and rivers, then you see that there are people ahead of you laying these traps. Its unclear why these people are trying to kill you but you see that they kill anyone who ventures into their territory.

Once you get past the traps and creatures you then need to figure out puzzles on how to proceed further, not traps as such but obstacles are now in your way. Some of these obstacles require you to die to figure out how to overcome it. This can get annoying but some of the deaths are quite amusing. Some obstacles require you to use box's, water amounts, flooding, jumping and even changing the gravity in some areas.

Every chapter provides you with a different puzzle, so you never feel like you repeating the same challenge again. I don't know what to make of the price, 1200MS is a'lot for a puzzle game. Once you complete it you won't feel the sudden urge to play it again as you know how to do the puzzles. But you do have a very enjoyable time playing it, it's not a story as such but an adventure. You will have some very unexpected but funny deaths, and you will enjoy trying to figure out some very good puzzles

All in all I'd say it was worth the 1200MS, the game could have been longer seeing as I completed it in one sit-through. But I enjoyed the hours of game-play I got from it, plus you get 100G for completing the game and an animal prop for your avatar. If you enjoy the demo you'll love the game.

Hope this was helpful. Please let me know what you think, this is my first review for this site. Very Happy

Nice one mate, it really is a brilliant game, The puzzles are very similar to the ones found in Little Big Planet on the PS3.

I found it amazing how much i cared for the little guy, there are no cut scenes or anything to build the story but i was really rooting for him by the end. Its very clever how they have conveyed this emotion in a game which is basically made up of 2 colours, Black and White and every shade inbetween. There is no sensory overload like most games, No bells or whistles, just good gamplay, its a refreshing change of pace.

It was a soothing game to play, but also creepy and hard. I would like to see more of these kind of games in the future.

That's the only part of the review I needed to read.

Sold! I'm buying it.

Well, when it's deal of the week at least.

This game is ace. Don't think I'll be maxing it though. Completing it in one sitting, dying less than 5 times.......no chance.

Played the demo and loved it.
Got to agree with most of the others here though, and will wait until it is a bit cheaper - have bought too many games recently.

Ha fair enough on the pricing issue, I rarely buy Arcade games these days so £10 wasn't really out of my way. But I wouldn't buy another 1200MS game again soon as the cost's would build up. Very Happy

Thanks for your opinions everyone!

Oh! Dibs on doing the Review for Halo: Reach!!!
