Dragon Quest Builders nearly triple Vita sales in Japan

Can Dragon Quest Builders really take the fight to Minecraft to be the top blocky buildy dog? In Japan it looks like it with Dragon Quest Builders helping the PS Vita sell almost triple the amount of consoles last week at 43,072. The game itself sold a very respectable 176,143 on Vita and 137,894 on PS4.

These are great figures however both Minecraft and Dragon quest are hoooge in japan, over here not so many people have heard of Dragon Quest and even less have played them... Shame on you because they are fantastic RPGs. What will Sqaure Enix do when they come to release here though? Will they market it heavily and hope to achieve sales which would probably also lead to sales for Dragon Quest especially with the remasters of VII and VIII coming out soon on 3DS (which both look beautiful) or will they stealth release and accept that Minecraft is a force not to be trifled with?
