Favourite Nintendo console.

What is or what was your favourite Nintendo console?

My favourite was the game cube, it was superb. I miss playing game's on it and it's not the same on the Wii.

They're all amazing. I've gotta go Snes though. I had the most fun with it overall I think. I still do come to think of it. Lol. I own three Snes consoles. You gotta have contingency consoles if you're a retro fan in case they die.

Super Mario World is flawless and still plays beautifully. Link to the Past, Earthbound, Donkey Kong Country, Mario All stars, Mario Kart, Super Metroid, Super Contra 3, Parodius. All timeless. To name but a few!

I love the Cube too mate. Resident Evil 4 is one of the best games of all time and I played Luigi's Mansion again recently. Love that game.

Yeah I think the SNES would be my choice too. Although I spent hours and hours playing Rogue Leader on the GC.

I loved the SNES and I had a NES as well. I've played old NES games on a PC emulator but its just not the same.

Gamecube and N64 for me

But now I would say it has to be Retron 5 as it plays 9 different consoles in one!

I'm tempted to buy one of them retron 5's. They look awesome.

I'm with Becky. The Wii has some of the best games ever made and if you use a component cable it is pretty much HD. I wish it wouldn't get slated like it does, or rather, I wish it was given a bit more credibility by non Ninty fans.

And you forgot Pandora's Tower in your list Becks!

The Wii did have great games, but I HATED waggling the controller.

I just couldn't really enjoy it.

Mario Galaxy was a below average game for me as too much waggling involved.

Mario Kart Wii was good as you could be waggle free!
