Fable Legends open beta now delayed to 2016

Originally promised this year the open beta has now been delayed until spring 2016, this move has likely been caused by issues found in the closed beta which has been running for the past few months.

During the following video in which the delay was announced the developer said:
"Right now, Fable Legends is coming together well and it's a lot of fun, but we think we can make it even better," Eckelberry said. "That means adding some additional features and elements of polish that we feel can make a real difference.

"It also means we're spending more time listening to our closed beta players to make sure their voices are heard.

"To be honest with you, we rather underestimated how big of a game Fable Legends is becoming. We've really created two games at once - a multiplayer RPG on one side and a kind of RTS on the other. One top of that, we've built a new world and whole new story to tell. This is the most ambitious game we've ever done at Lionhead and it's taking more time than we thought."

I wanted to like this, but I just don't. Maybe I will try the beta again at some point to see what has changed.

This ain't Fable :p I enjoyed what little time I played on the beta. Well I am not to fuss its beeing delayed, cause I too many games to play at the mo. Hopefully we get a working game properly from launch. Seems to be alot of games is in a rush to get onto the shop shelves halve broken or got to have update on the first day.

Its nothing like 2&3 mate. Compleatly different game... Sadly!
