Halo 5 Guardians going to have a 9GB update on the first day
Like it says in the title it will be 9GB update on day one So the game is going to be around 70GB. So I definitely need a new hard drive. Here is a link to know more. I could write to tell you the update but I am lazy so you have to read it. [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]
Is the WD hard drives any good? I come across a 2TB for £68 from curry's.

Yeah the WD HDDs are good, for consumer HDDs Western Digital, Seagate or Samsung drives are the ones to look at

Re: Halo 5 Guardians going to have a 9GB update on the first day
I have a 2TB WD hdd, that i bought in Currys/PCWORLD for £75, could well be the same one. Works absolutely great and only took a couple of minutes to set up and format.
Can't say anything about longevity as I've only had it a few weeks myself. But I've always trusted WD and Seagate for hdds. The only HDD I've ever had any trouble with was a Hitachi, that was utter bobbins and failed about 2-3 months out of warranty.
