n this date 71 years ago, Operation Market Garden began. The Allied military operation aimed to gain entry to Germany over the Lower Rhine by seizing several key bridges. However, the operation was a failure and troops were evacuated on September 25th. Brothers in Arms: Hell's Highway was a game whose story focused on the events of Operation Market Garden, therefore there is an achievement to be earned for playing the game on the anniversary of the first day of the operation.
