Far Cry 4’s Overrun add-on is available now and it introduces a brand-new multiple mode to Ubisoft’s brilliant open-worlder. Here’s all the details.

“In Overrun, you will defend a designated location as opposing factions attempt to take it for themselves,” explains the Ubi Blog. “This conflict zone will jump amongst three different locations spread across the map during each round. Since only one location is active at a time, you’ll need to be ready to move at a moment’s notice. While you have control of a zone, your team will rack up points. The more team members you have in a zone, the more points you get. Scores from both rounds will be totaled to determine the winner of the match.”

“Overrun also comes with four specially crafted new levels: Waterfront, Training, Steelhead and Reeducation,” the description continues. “In addition, for the first time in multiplayer you’ll have access to the dune buggy. You may need its speed to zip from one active location to another.”

Overrun is available as part of the Season Pass or can be purchased separately for $4.99/£3.99. The DLC has been released alongside a new update which adds co-op to Map Editor maps.
