Gran Turismo 7 Release Date Set for “2015 or 2016”

Gran Turismo 7 will release for PlayStation 4 in “2015 or 1016”, says series creator Kazunori Yamauchi.

Although Yamauchi reckons that developing for "PS3 was much, much more difficult”, we’re still gonna have to wait a while for the genre-defining driving game.

"The high quality of data that we have being rendered on the PS4 I think is going to make an incredible difference,” Yamauchi told GamesTM.

"For GT7, myself and my staff have a clear vision: to do everything we couldn't do in GT6," he added. "We want to make it very Gran Turismo. By that I mean it's going to be a game that matches the very era that we live in, in 2015 or 2016."

Last we heard, GT7 was going to be ready by at least 2015. But you know Yamauchi. He likes his cars fast and his development times slow.

Narrows it down! I'd be surprised to see this in the next two years
