Had an email about this today, preview for those in on the download tests, interesting concept, and for 5 dollars a month (50p in actual money) it's not too bad, I will probably be downloading it to try it out

Re: EA Access is £3.99 a month
I had an email about this earlier, I thought that the preview sounded ok until I read the note at the bottom "Note: While you can download and browse the EA Access Hub app for free, you'll need to purchase a EA Access subscription to enjoy all the benefits." If they want people to check it out and provide feedback isn't asking them to pay for the privilege a bit cheeky?

Its basically a ps+ for just EA stuff
so you pay 30 notes a year and you can play the ea games whilst your sub is live
I suppose its EAs new micropayment scheme on a grand scale, but if you like their sports titles then I suppose its some sort of value
Personally I looked at the games on potential offer to play and there is fuck all I would touch so not for me

I like the sound of it, if only cos if people are playing the old vault sports titles there should be less chance of the servers going down! Works for me

you would hope so
but its ea
they have had the option of letting old titles go p2p and have always opted for the twatty route
I sort of want a bunch on non sport AAAs to get on the radar then I could see me looking at it again

I saw a headline somewhere saying that Sony aren't adopting this on their machines as they don't think it is good value. Has anyone else seen an article on that? I'll have to hunt one down

EA stink. I would rather stand in the Gaza strip then get into bed with them.
Re: EA Access is £3.99 a month
It's confirmed at £3.99 a month for us
Dubbed EA Access, this service is being rolled out today in a beta for a limited number of players. The beta will grant subscribers unlimited access to FIFA 14, Madden NFL 25, Peggle 2 and Battlefield 4 with more titles to come.
Additionally, EA Access members will receive 10 per cent off most EA games and DLC downloaded on Xbox One.
Another benefit to the service is that its members will be able to play trials of upcoming games up to five days prior to their launch. So far the list of games this will entail includes: Madden NFL 15, NHL 15, FIFA 15, NBA LIVE 15 and Dragon Age: Inquisition. Your progress from these trials will carry over into the full game upon release.

Does this mean that demos are now officially dead on the Xboxone? Because the Demos section is hardly bursting now, is it? and most of them are EA games.

Re: EA Access is £3.99 a month
to me I cant help but think this is a we sold hardly any ea games on the one so here they all are for next to nothing.
I cant see us getting all the premium games at once. It sounds a great concept but usually with EA it is often to good to be true

Re: EA Access is £3.99 a month
So EA have finally found a way to combat the pre owned games market. Instead of giving GAME 30 odd quid for a used copy of FIFA 14 I can pay 20 pounds a year to play last years FIFA as well as a few others.
Kind of a Netflix to games isn't it?
I reckon we will see more of this in future as we are pushed towards digital over physical. You know it's coming...

Wholeheartedly agree mate, I for one wouldn't mind a netflix for games, it would probably open me up to a lot of stuff I wouldn't normally consider
