when will they stop releasing 360 & PS3 games???

Today I was reading about a game coming to PS3 in 2015!
I thought, stuff that I won't be buying any last gen games anymore now apart from Dynasty or Samurai warriors exclusives of course.

So my question is two parts-

1. When do you think they will stop producing them??

2. When will you stop buying them??

I want more games on XONE and PS4, not just ports and res ups.

Microsoft said a few months back that they'll be supporting the 360 for another 3 years, so....2016?

Yep this is what I was going to say.

For the first time ever in console history we are seeing a real cross-over, with two different generations having continued support. I'm more than happy to keep playing and buying 360 games for the time being. At least until there are a few must-have titles on the One and they sort out their dickhead UI.

2. When they stop producing them.

The 'rubber nipples' have worn off mine...   

I have 2 wireless controllers both of which have worn out nipples on the thumbsticks. And 1 of them has a duff shoulder button.

I also have a cheap wired pad, that hasn't been used too much, but the Dpad on it is a bit crap.

My pads are fine but my nipples are tender from cycling in this cold weather

I think they will be releasing 360 and PS3 games for a long time, there are millions of the consoles out there and lots of people who won't be upgrading to the new ones for years

I know of a few a few people who have bought 360s for their kids xmas presents this year. The 360 will still be a big christmas seller, as a lot of parents aren't going to spend £500 on a console and game.

I was thinking about this yesterday actually. With most games have a 2-3 year development cycle, I'd assume there will still be a quite a number of releases for at least that long.

I prefer it when they just cut it off after a certain point and focus on brand new shinier stuff.

One year is enough for me, longer than that is just too much.
